Wisconsin Timber Rattlers News Release
APPLETON, WI - The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers announce that the Milwaukee Brewers 2007 Minor League Player of the Year, Taylor Green, has been added to the Rattlers active roster.
Green was selected by the Brewers in the 25th round of the 2005 June draft. In 2007, he hit .327 with 14 HR and 86 RBI for West Virgina to earn the recognition from the Brewers organization. He spent the entire 2008 season in Brevard County hitting .289 and driving in 73 runs. A native of Canada, Green was named a South Atlantic League All-Star in '07 and a Florida State League All-Star in '08.
