PHOENIX - The playoff guaranteed Arizona Rattlers announced the team's second off-season open tryout today. The event, which any player can attend, will take place on Saturday, January 19th, 2008, at Alamo Stadium in San Antonio, Texas.
Head Coach Kevin Guy and staff will be on the field evaluating all the potential new Rattlers. The team will be working out all positions except for kickers.
Registration will begin at 12pm that day, with the workout lasting until about 5pm. Participants will pay a registration fee of $80 (cash only) on the day of the workout to attend. However, players can pre-register at a discounted rate of $60 (payable by credit card) by calling 956-843-5658 up to the day before the workout.
In the event of rain, the tryout will proceed as scheduled.

The 2008 Arizona Rattlers kickoff their 17th season in March, and have guaranteed their season ticket holders a trip to the playoffs. Season tickets, group tickets and premium single game tickets can be purchased by calling 602-379-2333.
