
Rapinoe and Long to Join USWNT Training Camp

SEATTLE - The U.S. Women's National Team today announced the training camp roster for the team's upcoming friendlies against China.
Two Seattle Reign FC players - forward Megan Rapinoe and midfielder Allie Long - were selected to the roster. The U.S. will take on China in Sandy, Utah on June 7, and again in Cleveland, Ohio on June 12.
Both players are experienced on the international circuit. Rapinoe has 135 caps and 36 goals with the national team. Long has appeared in 37 games and scored six times.

Of the 24 players chosen by USWNT head coach Jill Ellis, 20 of them are current NWSL players. The U.S. Women are 34-9-13 in their history against China. Nine wins for China is the second most of any opponent against America, trailing just Norway's 19 wins. To watch Rapinoe, Long and the rest of the USWNT in action, tune in to FS1 at 6 p.m. PT on June 7, and ESPN2 at 4 p.m. PT on June 12.
Both Rapinoe and Long are expected to be available for selection in Reign FC's match on Saturday, June 16 against the Washington Spirit.
