4.) RAPIDS, ZIZI ROBERTS ANNOUNCE THE "ZIZI ROBERTS LIBERIAN AID EFFORT"

The Colorado Rapids, Zizi Roberts, the Rapids Community Care Foundation and the Red Cross announced today the formation of the "Zizi Roberts Liberian Aid Effort", a community relations initiative designed to raise funds and awareness to help the current situation in Liberia. Monies raised through the fund will be donated to Red Cross efforts in Zizi's home country of Liberia. 5.) GET YOUR FREE RAPIDS TRAINING SOCKS THIS SATURDAY

Don't miss the next Rapids "Year of the Uniform" Free Giveaway Night! It's this Sat. Sept. 6, when the Rapids will give out Free Rapids Training Socks to the first 5,000 kids 16 and under into the stadium! This is the 3rd of 4 Year of the Uniform nights, where kids can get an entire Rapids uniform over the course of the season, including jersey, shorts, socks and a soccer ball (Free Soccer Ball Night is Sat. 6.) BE THE FIRST TO GET YOUR HANDS ON THE NEW "DRIVE WEST" CD

Rapids players Zach Kingsley and Casey Schmidt have combined their musical talents to form a new band and have recorded their first CD, entitled "Drive West". The CD is comprised of both original songs by Casey and Zach as well as covers of such artists as Bob Marley and Jack Johnson. The CD is Free with a donation of $10 or more to the Rapids Foundation! Proceeds will benefit the Rapids Foundation and Grassroot Soccer, an organization that provides funds to educate people about and battle AIDS. The "Drive West" CD will first be made available to the public for the first time at the Rapids game on Sat. 7.) VOLUNTEER AT AN UPCOMING RAPIDS GAME AND GET FREE ADMISSION!

The Rapids Foundation is looking for volunteers to help out at Invesco Field for upcoming charity events at the Rapids home games on Sat. Sept. 6, Sat. Sept. 13, Wed. Oct. 1 and Fri. Oct. 10. Volunteers will help with events like the Run the Rapids Race, Food Drive, Jersey Auction, Liberian Relief Fund and other charitable efforts of the Rapids Foundation. 8.) BRING BOOKS TO THE STADIUM TO DONATE ON SATURDAY

Join the Rapids this Saturday and "Get a Kick Out of Reading"! The Rapids, in conjunction with the NEA, will be hosting the Inaugural "Read Team Day" at INVESCO Field at Mile High on Sat. Sept. 6. Bring books to drop in the collection bins as part of the Rapids Book Drive, and the Rapids will donate them to kids and schools in need! Plus, Kohl's will give a free gift to everyone who donates books to the Book Drive! The Rapids will distribute free "Get a Kick Out of Reading" folders to fans!
