
Rapids hold first open practice

Buffalo Silverbacks News Release
The Buffalo Rapids is holding their first open practice at the Jewish Community Center in Amherst from 4pm to 6pm. The Rapids will be holding traveling practices in an effort to meet the community. The Jewish Community Center and Villa Maria will be the main sites and the North Buffalo Community Center will serve as a site where the Rapids review the playbook.
The Rapids have been in training since October 15, 2005 in order to get ready for their first game on November 3, 2005 against the Maryland Nighthawks.
This is the first professional basketball practice held in Buffalo in over 30 years! All press is invited to come to this exciting event! Every player and coach will be available to talk with the media.
