COMMERCE CITY, Colo. - (Sunday, August 30, 2009) - Julien Baudet's header to the far post from a Mehdi Ballouchy corner kick in the 55th minute was all the Colorado Rapids needed in earning a 1-0 victory over the Western Conference leading Houston Dynamo Sunday afternoon at Dick's Sporting Goods Park.

Baudet, who was making his first appearance since suffering a fractured left forearm on July 25, entered the game as a first half substitute replacing Cory Gibbs in the 13th minute after Gibbs went down with a left quad injury.

The goal was Baudet's first-career MLS score and the first goal by the Rapids this season off a corner kick.

Houston was limited to one shot on goal for the match, as Colorado posted their sixth shutout victory of the season.

The Rapids host Toronto FC next week on Saturday, September 5 at 8 pm at Dick's Sporting Goods Park in the first of a home-and-away series against Toronto with the second contest coming on September 12 at BMO Field.
