DENVER - The Colorado Rapids came from behind to earn one point tonight against FC Dallas. Jovan Kirovski netted his third goal in as many games, as Colorado rebounded from a 2-0 deficit to score two unanswered goals and stay unbeaten at INVESCO Field in 2006.

The Rapids conceded the first goal for the third time this season on a free kick in the 5th minute. A foul by Chris Wingert gave the visitors a free kick about 27 yards from goal. Greg Vanney stepped up and hit a rocket with his left foot that beat Joe Cannon to his left for his first goal in a FC Dallas uniform.

FC Dallas went up 2-0 in the 25th minute when Robetro Mina scored his second goal of the year when his shot from 30 yards out hit the inside of the goal post and bounced in the goal.

The Rapids got on the board in the 39th minute when Jovan Kirovski scored the first penalty kick goal in MLS this year. Clarence Goodson gave up the kick when he handled the ball with his arm. Kirovski made it three goals in three games when he hammered the ball to the right while Dario Sala dove to the left.

Colorado equalized three minutes into second half stoppage time when Terry Cooke played a ball across the face of the goal. Goodson slid to clear the ball but only redirected it into the back of his own net.

Nicolas Hernandez nearly gave Colorado the lead just minutes into the send half when he beat several Dallas defenders and cut back into the middle but his shot went right to Sala.

The Rapids will take a week off of MLS action before returning to the pitch Saturday, April 29 when they take on Western Conference rivals Houston Dynamo at 7 p.m. at INVESCO Field. All kids 16 and under get a free ticket with the purchase of an adult ticket for this Rapids Kids Night game.
