Rapids Announce "Becks Flex Pack" After Most Successful Single Game On-Sale Date in Team History

Commerce City, Colorado (Monday, March 12, 2007) -The Colorado Rapids had their most successful single game ticket on-sale date in the club's history on Saturday, March 10, selling ten times as many tickets as in previous years' events.

Single game inventory for one of the season's most anticipated matches, vs. the LA Galaxy and David Beckham on Aug. 26, sold out in less than 90 minutes. With the single ticket inventory for the Aug. 26 match completely sold out, the club is pleased to introduce the "Becks Flex Pack", which will enable fans to get tickets for the game as part of a three-game package.

The "Becks Flex Pack" is on sale now and can be purchased by calling the Rapids at 303-825-GOAL (4625). The three-game package will include the Aug. 26 game as well as the buyer's choice of two of the following four games: April 15 vs. Chicago, May 10 vs. Salt Lake, July 8 vs. New York, or Aug. 16 vs. New England. Prices for the "Becks Flex Plan" range from $51 to $96.

The Rapids also experienced vigorous sales for other games as well, including the inaugural game at Dick's Sporting Goods Park on Saturday, April 7 and the annual July 4 match, featuring Colorado's biggest and best fireworks show.
