
Rangers Take 3-1 Win over Battalion

The Kitchener Rangers open the weekend with a 3-1 defensive battle against the Brampton Battalion.
Micky Sartoretto opened up the scoring with a hard shot that went over the glove of Brampton netminder Jacob Riley at 3:10 of the first period. Julian Cimadamore scored his first goal of the season at the 12:28 mark to put the Rangers up 2-0.
Kitchener's Michael Catenacci was on the doorstep to bang in a pass from Chris MacKinnon that gave the Rangers a 3-goal lead over the Battalion at 4:38 of the second period. Sean Jones scored with 32-seconds left in the period to put Brampton on the board.
Brampton held a 17-13 shooting edge after two periods of play.
The third period was scoreless.
The Rangers travel to Guelph tomorrow for a 7:30pm game against the Storm. They return home Sunday, November 29th to host the Sudbury Wolves. Game time is 6:00pm.
