Kitchener Rangers Head Coach and General Manager Steve Spott announced that the team has signed Zach Lorentz to an Ontario Hockey League contract.
Lorentz was drafted by the Rangers in the 12th round of the 2009 OHL Priority Selection. He split last season with Waterloo Midget AAA and the Waterloo Siskins. In 25 games with the Siskins Lorentz tallied eight goals and 12 assists.
