Kitchener Rangers News Release
Kitchener Rangers Head Coach and General Manager Steve Spott has announced that the team has signed free agent Brandon Lesway to an Ontario Hockey League contract.
"Brandon is an excellent skater who made his mark as a top penalty killer this past year," Rangers Head Scout Murray Hiebert said. "His speed allows him to create offence by coming off the wing and taking the puck to the net. He will be an exciting player."
Brandon spent last season with the Kemptville 73's of the CJHL where he tallied 9 goals and 19 assists in 62 games.
Rangers training camp opens on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium.
