Kitchener, ON: Rangers Head Coach/General Manager Peter DeBoer announced this morning that the team has selected Swiss defenseman Yannick Weber with the 15th overall selection in the 2006 CHL Import Draft.
A native of Bern, Switzerland, Weber played 26 games last season with Langenthal (NLB) senior team registering 3 points and a +14 rating.
