
Rangers Lead Series 2-1 after Edging Spirit 2-1

The Rangers now lead the series 2-1 after they battled to a 2-1 victory over the Spirit at The Aud in game three of quarter final playoff action.
Jeremy Morin beat Saginaw netminder Edward Pasquale with a one-timer from the point at the 17:10 mark of the first period to give the Rangers a 1-0 lead. The Spirit had a 17-14 shooting edge in the period.
The Rangers fired 22 shots at the Saginaw net in the second period. Pasquale was strong in goal for the Spirit and kept Kitchener off the board. The score remained 1-0 in favour of Kitchener after 40-minutes.
Jeff Skinner netted a pass from Morin just under the 2-minute mark of the second period to put the Rangers up 2-0. The Spirit's Tyler Murovich capitalized on a power play at 14:47 to make it a one-goal game.
The Rangers travel to Saginaw for game four in the OHL playoffs quarter finals Wednesday, March 24th to face the Spirit at 7:11pm. They return to home ice on Friday, March 26th for game five at 7:30pm. Great seats are still available for purchase.
