In keeping with the effort to reduce the spread of COVID-19, the Kitchener Rangers announced today that a limited number of team-branded reusable face coverings will be available for pre-sale on rangersauthentics.com. In collaboration with Rangers Reach, proceeds will go to support the Canadian Mental Health Association Waterloo Wellington.

"Our top priority at this unprecedented time is the safety and well-being of our fans and partners across the Region of Waterloo," Rangers Chief Operating Officer and Governor Joe Birch said. "We're committed to stopping the spread of COVID-19 while also helping the CMHA provide mental health support during the current pandemic."

Executive Director of CMHA Waterloo Wellington Helen Fishburn described how the current pandemic has made a serious impact on mental health.

"The proceeds raised will help us continue providing the necessary resources to those who need it most. As a partner of the Ontario Hockey League and the Kitchener Rangers, CMHA Waterloo Wellington is thankful for the team's support during a traumatic time for many in our community."

Individual reusable masks are $12 each (plus HST and $2 flat-rate shipping) and available in adult or youth sizing. Bundles of two adults and one youth mask can be purchased for $30 (plus HST and shipping).

Orders should arrive in three to four weeks from the time of purchase and will be individually wrapped. Each reusable mask is also machine washable.
