
Rangers Announce Game Honouring 1981-82 Memorial Cup Team

Kitchener, ON - The Kitchener Rangers are thrilled to announce a special game day on March 3rd, dedicated to honouring the remarkable achievements of the 1981-82 Memorial Cup winning team. This nostalgic event will bring together the heroes of the past with the stars of the present to celebrate the Kitchener Rangers' rich history and legacy.
Sixteen members of the iconic 1981-82 roster, including two Hockey Hall of Fame inductees, Al MacInnis and Scott Stevens and former Rangers Captain Brian Bellows, will attend the game and join in on a special pre-game ceremony at the Aud when the Rangers take on the Kingston Frontenacs at 2pm.
The March 3rd game day will feature a series of special events and tributes throughout the evening, including:
Pre-game Ceremonies: The festivities will kick off with a special pre-game ceremony honouring the 1981-82 Memorial Cup-winning team
Confirmed to Attend: The following members of the 1981-82 Team have confirmed to attend*: Kevin Casey, Joel Levesque, Scott Clements, Al MacInnis, Wendell Young, Mike Hough, Brad Schnurr, Brian Bellows, Michael Eagles, Grant Martin, Scott Stevens, Louis Crawford, Jim Quinn, Robert Savard, Jeff Larmer, David Shaw* Attendance could be subject to change
80's Theme Game: Wear your favourite Kitchener Rangers retro jersey or throw on some 1980s swag and join us as we throwback to the decade throughout the game.
Limited Edition Commemorative Posters: Limited quantities of commemorative posters will be available for fans upon entry
The Kitchener Rangers invite all fans, both new and longtime supporters, to join them on March 3rd for this historic celebration. This special game day promises to be a journey back in time, celebrating the achievements of the past while looking forward to the bright future of the Kitchener Rangers.
