
Rangers Acquire Seventh-Round Pick in 2015 NHL Entry Draft

NEW YORK, June 1, 2015 - New York Rangers President and General Manager Glen Sather announced today that the team has acquired a seventh-round pick in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft from Tampa Bay in exchange for defenseman Daniel Walcott.
The draft pick the Rangers acquired is their own seventh-round pick. New York previously sent the pick to Tampa Bay as part of its trade with the Lightning on March 5, 2014.
Walcott, 21, was selected by the Rangers in the fifth round, 140th overall, of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft.
