
Rangers Acquire Kitchener-Native Kyle Morey in Trade with Owen Sound

Kitchener, Ont. - The Kitchener Rangers announced today that the club has completed a trade with the Owen Sound Attack.
In the trade, the Rangers receive the playing rights to forward Kyle Morey. In return, Kitchener trades Hamilton's eighth-round pick (conditional) in the 2023 OHL Priority Selection to Owen Sound.
A native of Kitchener, Ont., Morey played his AAA minor hockey locally with the Kitchener Jr. Rangers in the Minor Hockey Alliance of Ontario (MHAO). Most recently, Murray recorded an impressive 44 points (18G, 26A) in 48 Jr. B games with the St. Marys Lincolns in the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League.
Murray was selected by Owen Sound in the fifth round (87th overall) of the 2021 OHL Priority Selection.
