
Rangers Acquire Greyhounds Import Pick

Kitchener, ON: Rangers Head Coach/General Manager Peter DeBoer announced this morning that the team has acquired the Sault Ste Marie Greyhounds 1st round pick (15th overall) in the 2006 CHL Import Draft.
In exchange the Rangers sent a 4th round pick in the 2007 OHL Priority Selection to the Greyhounds.
In the past few years the Rangers have used the picks to acquire Petr Kanko, Boris Valabik and Jakub Kindl via the Import Draft.
The CHL Import Draft is scheduled for Wednesday, June 28th.
