
Randolph named ABA All-Star

Davenport - The Quad City Riverhawks (15-5) announced today that Drake graduate Lonnie Randolph will be their representative in the 2007 ABA All-Star game in Halifax, Nova Scotia on January 28, 2007.
"This is a great honor for Lonnie as well as the organization. Lonnie is a winner. He has won ball games for us with last second shots and free throws," said Head Coach Jim Condill.
Randolph is currently averaging 14 points a game, with 7 rebounds and 7 assists. He is currently shooting 34% from the 3-point arc and hitting 72% of his free throws through the first 20 games.
Head Coach Condill stated, "Lonnie is the general on the floor and he commands the troops challenging them to play better."
The Riverhawks next home game is tonight at 7:05pm against the Peoria Kings brought to you by NewsChannel 8, WQAD-TV. The Kings return to town to battle for the traveling trophy in the "War on 74." Tickets are available by calling the Riverhawks office at 563/445-2375 and are available at the Field House Sports Complex (formerly Marycrest) prior to the game.
