March 21, 2006 - Arena Football League (1987-2008) (AFL I)
Grand Rapids Rampage News Release

Grand Rapids Rampage WR/DB Josh Bush has been named the AFL's Ironman of the Week and ArenaFan Online's Two-Way Player of the Week for his outstanding two-way performance in last Thursday's 59-49 win over the Utah Blaze.

Bush (5'08," 170 lbs., Western Michigan) caught three touchdowns on three receptions for 36 yards on offense. Defensively, he posted 7.5 stops, two pass breakups and an interception. The Rampage set a franchise record with five interceptions and six total takeaways against the then Western Division leading Blaze, who had just five total interceptions entering the game against Grand Rapids.

This marks the first AFL Ironman of the Week award for Bush and fifth overall in team history. The last time a Rampage player earned AFL Ironman of the Week was when Ricky Ross received the honor for his performance against New York in Week 3 of 2003. Michael Baker (1999), Les Barley (2001) and Willis Marshall (2002) also received Ironman of the Week honors as members of the Rampage.

Bush and the rest of his Rampage teammates head off to the Windy City this Sunday, March 26 to play the Chicago Rush. Both teams come into the game at 3-5 and are right in the thick of the 2006 playoff hunt. Kickoff is slated for 3:00 p.m. and the game can be seen on Fox Sports Detroit and heard on WBFX 101.3 FM - the Fox.

All Rampage home games are played at Centennial Wireless Field at Van Andel Arena. Tickets are available through StarTicketsPLUS (1.800.585.3737), all Michigan Meijer locations, at The Zone (located on the west side of Van Andel Arena) or by clicking here. Tune in on WOOD-TV channel 8 (NBC) in the Grand Rapids area all season long for the Rampage's drive to ArenaBowl XX.
