THIS WEEK'S GAMES

Friday, Dec. 16 vs. Rochester Americans

AT&T Center, 7:00 p.m.

The Rampage face off against the Rochester Americans for the first time this season on Friday at the AT&T Center. The Americans are currently in second place in the North Division with an 11-11-3-1 record and 26 points.

Sunday, Dec. 18 vs. Texas Stars

AT&T Center, 3:30 p.m.

San Antonio plays host to their in-state rivals, the Texas Stars, on Sunday.

The Stars, who enter the week in fifth place in the West Division with 21 points, sit third in the Lone Star Faceoff Standings with a 3-5-0-0 record while the Rampage are second with a 3-4-0-0 mark.

TEDDY BEAR TOSS NIGHT-Dec. 16: The San Antonio Rampage will host their 7 th Annual Teddy Bear Toss this Friday when they host the Rochester Americans for a 7 p.m. matchup at the AT&T Center. Fans are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped stuffed animal to throw onto the ice when the Rampage score their first goal. The teddy bears will be donated to the U.S. Marine Corps' Toys for Tots program.

SHUT DOWN D: The Rampage have held their opponents to just one goal per contest in five out of six games in December.

KEEPING UP WITH KEARNS: Rampage center Bracken Kearns, who returned to the team after a second stint with the Florida Panthers, posted two goals and an assist in three games last week. The seven-year veteran leads the team with 18 points on nine goals and nine assists in 21 games with San Antonio this season and is on pace to surpass his career-high in goals (20) that he set with the Rampage last year in 72 games played.

MR. 200: San Antonio forward Greg Rallo notched his 200 th career professional point by picking up an assist on Bracken Kearns' game-winning goal against the Rivermen on Saturday. Rallo, 30, has compiled 94 goals and 107 assists in 356 career professional games.

WORKING OVERTIME: The Rampage are the only team in the AHL that has not lost in overtime or in a shootout. They are 1-0 in overtime and 2-0 in shootouts this season.

RAMPAGE NATION: San Antonio maintains the league's second-best average attendance mark at home in the AHL, drawing 6,488 fans per contest.

ICE CHIPS: Jacob Markstrom - Goaltender

Rampage backstop Jacob Markstrom stopped 44 of the 45 shots he faced on Sunday to aid San Antonio in their 4-1 victory over the Charlotte Checkers. Markstrom has been strong in goal as of late, allowing just five goals in his last four outings for a save percentage of .953.

Markstrom, a second-round pick of the Florida Panthers in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft, maintains a 3-5-0 record with a 2.69 goals against average and a .912 save percentage in nine games with San Antonio this season. He has also appeared in six games with the Panthers in 2011-12 and posted a 2-3-1 mark with a 2.59 G.A.A. and a .928 save percentage.
