
Rampage sign Ryan Flinn to AHL contract

SAN ANTONIO (August 21, 2006) - The San Antonio Rampage announced today that the club has signed left wing Ryan Flinn to a one-year American Hockey League (AHL) contract.
Flinn, 26, appeared in six games with the Manchester Monarchs (AHL), collecting one assist and 38 penalty minutes last season. He also appeared in two NHL games with the Los Angeles Kings.
The 6-foot-5, 248-pound Flinn has recorded 16 points (six goals, 10 assists) and amassed 522 penalty minutes in 143 career AHL games over five seasons with Manchester. For his NHL career, Flinn has registered one goal and 84 penalty minutes in 31 games over three seasons with Los Angeles.
The Halifax, Nova Scotia native was originally drafted by the New Jersey Devils (5th round, 143rd overall) in the 1998 NHL entry Draft.
