Rampage Release Macaulay From PTO

SAN ANTONIO (December 14, 2009) - San Antonio Rampage General Manager Brad Treliving announced today that the American Hockey League club has released defenseman Kenny MacAulay from his Professional Try-Out (PTO).

MacAulay, 25, has appeared in four games with the Rampage since signing a PTO on Nov. 17. Prior to joining the Rampage, he appeared in 14 games with the Stockton Thunder (ECHL) this season, posting one goal and 10 assists. The Baddeck, Nova Scotia native has skated in 57 career AHL games (2007-09) collecting one goal and eight assists. He has registered eight goals and 47 assists in 95 career ECHL games and is a two-time ECHL All-Star. The blueliner served as the team captain for the Fresno Falcons (ECHL) during the 2008-09 season.

The Rampage travel to Houston this Wednesday for a 7 p.m. "Lone Star Faceoff" matchup against the Aeros at Toyota Center. This Friday the Rampage host their 5th annual Teddy Bear toss when they take on the Grand Rapids Griffins at 7 p.m. at the AT&T Center.
