Rampage Recall Gistedt from Arizona

SAN ANTONIO (March 5, 2009) - San Antonio Rampage General Manager Brad Treliving announced today that goaltender Joel Gistedt has been recalled from the Arizona Sundogs of the Central Hockey League.

This is Gistedt's fourth recall to the Rampage this season and appeared in one game with the Rampage on November 8, 2008 against Quad City. He replaced Josh Tordjman in the third period and stopped seven of nine shots on goal.

Gistedt, a native of Uddevalla, Sweden, has played in 25 games with the Sundogs this season posting an 8-13-1-0 record with a .868 save percentage and stopping 624 shots.

Gistedt, 21, was the Phoenix Coyotes' fourth choice, second round pick (36th overall) in the 2007 National Hockey League Entry Draft.
