Ralph adds two more to training-camp roster

Boise, ID - Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operation Brad Ralph announced Monday that the ECHL's Idaho Steelheads have agreed to terms with defensemen Connor Goggin and Dalton Reum.
Goggin and Reum will be invited to the team's training camp in October.
Goggin, 24, is going into his second full season out of Dartmouth College. He played with the Trenton Titans last season, appearing in 62 games, before his rights were acquired by Idaho following the conclusion of the regular season. Goggin has also appeared in 12 games at the American Hockey League level with the Rockford Ice Hogs.
Ralph on Goggin: "Connor is a mobile guy on the blue line with a really good shot from the point. We'll ask him to add some offense at the right times and you'll see him logging some time on the power play."
The 21-year-old Reum (pronounced REE-um) is turning pro after competing in major-junior hockey for the Swift Current Broncos of the Western Hockey League for the past two and a half seasons. He netted a career-best six goals during the 2011-12 season and picked up an additional ten points (one goal, nine assists) last season.
Ralph on Reum: "Dalton is a kid that is full of character, work ethic and determination. He's a big, physical defenseman who we expect to show some offensive upside as he gains confidence at the pro level."
The Steelheads now have six players scheduled to join the team for training camp - forwards Gaelan Patterson and Grant Blakey along with defensemen Goggin, Reum, Colin Dueck and James Isaacs.
Idaho opens the regular season on October 18 at Utah. The team's home opener is Wednesday, October 23, at CenturyLink Arena in Boise against the San Francisco Bulls.
