Tacoma Rainiers News Release
The Rainiers would like to thank everyone who was able to make it to the Tsunami Relief Day at Cheney Stadium on January 15th. It was a cold afternoon but it was nice to see so many familiar faces of fans at the stadium. Thanks to you we raised almost $3,000 for victims of the disaster. Every little bit helps!
This Friday, January 28 is the last day to place an order for you own personalized Rainiers blanket. The blankets are large 54x54 inch blankets with a Rainiers mountain logo and your name (up to 18 letters) at the bottom. The blankets will then be available for pick up at the stadium beginning March 15, in plenty of time for the season. For more information, visit our website at www.tacomarainiers.com.
The renewal deadlines for both season tickets and min-plans have passed for existing plan holders. That means that the seats from anyone who did not renew are now available for others to purchase. Seven game mini plans are only $42 per reserved seat and $77 per box seat. This offers an affordable way to have a great seat for the highest demand games during the year. Also, season tickets start at the amazingly low price of $180 per seat. If you would like to find out more about what seats or plans are available, call the ticket office at 253-752-7700 or 800-281-3834.
Spring training starts in only 22 days. That has a nice sound to it, doesn't it?
If you or anyone you know is interested in working the Rainiers in a seasonal position this year, applications will be available at Cheney Stadium OR via the website starting February 1. Fill one out and bring it by the stadium to be considered. Each year we hire hundreds of people over the course of the season. We work hard but it is always a fun place to be! Why not join us?
Watch for future emails regarding the date 2005 individual game tickets go on sale, as well information on players on the Rainiers team.
