(ROUND ROCK, TX) – The Round Rock Express and KXAN-TV / KNVA-TV have reached an exclusive broadcast partnership agreement for the 2005 season.

The broadcast team will consist of KXAN-TV Sports Director Roger Wallace and former major leaguer baseball player and University of Texas great Keith Moreland. Wallace and Moreland have worked together broadcasting UT football games on the Longhorn Sports Network. Wallace will handle the play-by-play duties with Moreland serving as color analyst.

The first six televised games will air on:

Saturday, April 9 @ 7:05 PM (Omaha Royals versus Express) on KXAN-TV 36

Sunday, April 10 @ 2:05 PM (Omaha Royals versus Express) on KNVA-TV 54

Saturday, April 23 @ 7:05 PM (New Orleans Zephyrs versus Express) on KNVA-TV 54

Saturday, April 30 @ 7:05 PM (Oklahoma RedHawks versus Express) on KNVA-TV 54

Sunday, May 1 @ 2:05 PM (Oklahoma RedHawks versus Express) on KNVA-TV 54

Sunday, May 14 @ 7:05 PM (Portland Beavers versus Express) on KNVA-TV 54

Event: Houston Astros Caravan

When: 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM on Tuesday, February 8, 2005

Where: The United Heritage Center located at The Dell Diamond Details: Coming from the Astros will be Manager Phil Garner, General Manager Tim Purpura, Lance Berkman, Jason Lane and Hall of Fame Broadcaster Milo Hamilton.
