Rain washes out Lynx and Bulls
March 16, 2007 - International League (IL1)
Ottawa Lynx News Release
OTTAWA - The Lynx will go into the weekend with their undefeated Spring record intact after their game against the Durham Bulls today was cancelled due to rain.
That leaves the Lynx with a perfect 3-0 record as they take on the Syracuse Chiefs, the Triple-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays, Saturday in Clearwater and Sunday in Dunedin.
The Lynx have already beaten Syracuse twice this pre-season, 6-3 Wednesday and 5-3 yesterday.
The Ottawa Lynx will open the 2007 season, their first season as the Triple-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies, in Rochester on April 6. The Lynx home opener is scheduled for April 17th against the Charlotte Knights at 6:05pm. Ticket information can be found at www.ottawalynx.com or by calling 613 747-LYNX (5969).
