Heavy late-afternoon rain and persistent lightning forced the postponement of Monday's scheduled game between the New Orleans Zephyrs and Memphis Redbirds.

The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Saturday, July 25, with two seven-inning games set to begin at 6:00 p.m. That night will feature Salute to Scrubs, as well as a postgame concert.

Fans with tickets to Monday's game can redeem them at any future Zephyrs game in the 2009 season.

The series with Memphis concludes on Tuesday with an 11:30 a.m. start.
