RailHawks Set to Unveil Official Home Jerseys
May 17, 2007 - USL First Division (USL-1)
North Carolina FC News Release
The Carolina RailHawks have announced they will unveil their official home jersey this week as they host the Charleston Battery on Saturday May 19th at 7:30 PM at SAS Soccer Park in Cary. The beautiful orange and white kits will feature the logo of the RailHawks shirt sponsor, Novozymes. The world's largest producer of industrial enzymes, Novozymes is a global company recognized for its commitment to industry excellence and for social responsibility. Among their core values is their desire to set the highest standard in everything they do and reach challenging goals. This is the perfect partnership between the two organizations as the Carolina RailHawks strive to set high standards both on and off the field.
"Being associated with an industry leader like Novozymes is a major plus for our organization," said Carolina RailHawks VP of Sales and Marketing Brad Myers. "We are pleased to wear the Novozymes logo on our jersey as we play across the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. The addition of Novozymes to our already impressive group of remarkable partners is a testament to the viability and popularity of professional soccer in the Triangle market."
With its headquarters in Denmark, Novozymes has subsidiaries in over 30 countries including 3 in the United States. Franklinton, North Carolina being one of them puts Novozymes in close geographical proximity with the Carolina RailHawks. This allows for Novozymes to continue the promotion of quality of life among their employees, by encouraging them to visit SAS Soccer Park and watch the Carolina RailHawks in a quality professional soccer match, as well as communicating Novozymes' message throughout the communities they live in.
"Novozymes is proud to sponsor the Carolina Railhawks," said Novozymes North America Communications Manager T. Yokima Cureton. "Not only is it good visibility but we believe it is a great demonstration of our commitment to giving back to the communities close to where our employees live."
