CARY - Educational Outfitters of Raleigh, the largest retailer of school uniforms, team athletic uniforms and school spirit gear in the United States, is the new official retailer of the Carolina RailHawks.
"We are very proud of our partnership with Carolina RailHawks," said Patty Owens, Chief Executive officer of Educational Outfitters. "It is very exciting to be a part of the merchandising and branding of a professional sports team. Our many years of high-end garment decorating was a very good fit for the image the RailHawks were looking for."
Owens, Educational Outfitters' majority owner, has grown the business from a service concept in 2002 to the largest retailer of school uniforms in the United States. The company outfits more than 10,000 children from pre-school through high school. Educational Outfitters of Raleigh was recently named one of the top 100 companies in North Carolina by Business Leader Magazine.
"We are very happy to partner with Educational Outfitters," said RailHawks President Brian Wellman. "It is very important for us to partner with local, community-oriented organizations and Educational Outfitters fits the bill perfectly."
Fans will be able to purchase RailHawks gear in the Educational Outfitters retail store at 1331 Buck Jones Road in Cary, at WakeMed Soccer Park during RailHawks games and online at www.carolinarailhawks.com/shop.
