CARY, NC (October 23, 2015) - The Carolina RailHawks travel to Tampa Bay looking to earn three points in their final road match of the regular season against the Tampa Bay Rowdies on Saturday, October 24th at 7:30 pm. The match will be broadcast live locally in North Carolina on WRAL2 and nationally on ESPN3.

Saturday's match is the second fall-season meeting between the RailHawks and the Rowdies. The RailHawks hosted the Rowdies on August 1st and overcame a one-goal deficit to earn a 1-1 draw. Mark Anderson netted the RailHawks' goal in the 32nd minute.

The RailHawks will be pushing to keep their championship hopes alive against the Rowdies in their final road match of the regular season. The RailHawks currently have 32 combined-season points, putting them only six points out of playoff contention.

In their previous match, the RailHawks fell to the Fort Lauderdale Strikers on the road. The strikers scored twice in the first half and twice in the second half to defeat the RailHawks 4-0. The RailHawks are looking to return to the win column against the Rowdies.

The Tampa Bay Rowdies return to their home pitch after traveling to Atlanta to take on the Atlanta Silverbacks last Saturday. Neither the Rowdies nor the Silverbacks could convert any attacks, leaving the final score line in a 0-0 draw.

The last regular season home game for the RailHawks will feature Fan Appreciation Night festivities including a post-game fireworks display, team poster and bobble bottles giveaways, and an extended autograph session with RailHawks players. On Fan Appreciation Night the RailHawks will host Indy Eleven at WakeMed Soccer Park on Friday, October 30th at 7:30 pm ET.

RailHawks Notes:

Who to Watch

Defender Steve Miller has only played three matches with the RailHawks but has already made a substantial impact on the back line. Miller has started in each of his three matches, logging a total of 270 minutes thus far. Miller's consistent and reliable play has anchored him in the Starting XI since he arrived to the team.

Coach's Quote

"The game against Tampa Bay will be very difficult because they need the points as much as we do, said RailHawks Head Coach Colin Clarke. "Our goal is to get six points in the next two matches. We want to finish the season strong."
