Match Preview: The Carolina RailHawks (8W-5D-8L; 29 pts; 5th place) host the Ottawa Fury FC (5W-7D-11L; 22 pts; 10th place) on September 10 at WakeMed Soccer Park at 7:30 p.m. This will be the second time the two teams have met in the fall season and the third time they've met this year. Most recently, the RailHawks traveled to Ottawa on Wednesday, July 27 as the first stop on a two game road trip to Canada. Carolina, plagued by injury and travel restrictions, fell 2-0 to the Fury. The first goal came in the eighth minute from Carl Haworth, while Bryan Olivera helped score the second goal for Ottawa as his free kick unluckily deflected off of Carolina's Drew Beckie into the net. While the score favored Ottawa at the end of 90 minutes, the statistics favored the RailHawks. Carolina controlled 60.5 percent of possession and outshot Ottawa 11-7.

Last Time Out: Carolina is coming off a high note after defeating the Jacksonville Armada FC 1-0 at home on Saturday, September 3. The lone goal came from Tiyi Shipalane in the late minutes of the first half off of a ball from Nazmi Albadawi. Carolina is looking to extend its home unbeaten streak to eight games on Saturday.

Players to Watch: Carolina RailHawks #10 Nazmi Albadawi Carolina's captain was named to the NASL Team of the Week for Week 10 for his standout performance against the Jacksonville Armada last week. His assist to Tiyi Shipalane in the 43rd minute earned him his fourth appearance on the Team of the Week this year. With 86 percent passing accuracy and 70 total touches, Albadawi's presence in the midfield was crucial in the team's victory. The midfielder leads the league in assists with nine. Additionally, he created four chances in last week's game, extending his league lead to 35 total chances created.

Ottawa Fury FC #16 Thomas Stewart Stewart was also named to the NASL Team of the Week for Week 10 after scoring the fastest goal in Ottawa Fury history. The forward has scored three goals for the Fury in 10 games played. He and Carolina Head Coach Colin Clarke have a common bond, as they both have represented their native Northern Ireland on the national level. Last year, Stewart became the first player from Northern Ireland to score a hat trick in U.S. Open Cup history when he scored three goals against Sonoma County Sol FC.

Coming Up Next: The RailHawks travel to Florida to play Miami FC (6W-8D-7L; 26 pts; 8th place) on Wednesday, September 14 at 8:00 p.m. ET. They will then venture up to Tampa to take on the Rowdies (7W-7D-8L; 28 pts; 7th place) on Saturday, September 17 at 7:30 p.m. ET.

Carolina RailHawks Campout After Saturday night's match, over 150 fans will be participating in the annual Carolina RailHawks Campout at WakeMed Soccer Park. Tickets include a premium ticket to the match, an on-field parade at halftime and breakfast in the morning from Duck Donuts.

Go Gold Month For Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month Throughout the month of September, the RailHawks will be fundraising with the American Cancer Society alongside six other NASL teams including the Tampa Bay Rowdies, New York Cosmos, Fort Lauderdale Strikers, Indy Eleven, Miami FC, Puerto Rico FC and Rayo OKC.
