SAINT PAUL, Minn.- Minnesota United (5W-5D-3L, 20pts) head east to battle the New York Cosmos (8W-3D-2L 27pts) in a critical Fall Season clash. Both teams are riding unbeaten streaks, United having gone five straight without suffering a loss, while the Cosmos are unbeaten in their last seven matches. The match is set to kick off at 6 p.m. CDT at James Shuart Stadium - fans can watch all the action live on MY29 and ONE World Sports.

Minnesota United are riding a dominant defensive streak, having only conceded one goal in its previous five matches, a 1-1 road draw with Miami FC. The Loons will look to carry over this defensive prowess on Saturday against one of the club's bitter rivals.

United exorcised the Cosmos demon in the Spring, earning its first ever victory, a dramatic 1-0 win at National Sports Center Stadium thanks to a stoppage-time Christian Ramirez strike. United will need to build from that moment in this match Saturday in hopes of remaining alive in the Fall Season title chase. In order for that to happen on the road, United will have to do something no NASL club has done in the previous 15 matches in New York: beat the Cosmos at Shuart Stadium.

The Cosmos have not lost at home this season, and have been dominant, earning an 11-1-0 record so far this year. A steady back line and keeper play have been instrumental during the unbeaten streak for United and the club will need to maintain its defensive strength against a Cosmos team that leads the NASL in goal differential, scoring 29 goals in the Fall, ten more than the closest teams (Miami, Indy).

Tune in to MY29 or ONE World Sports to follow all the action live on Saturday night. Follow along on social media with the team's main and gameday accounts @MNUFC and @mnunitedgameday.
