
RailHawks Keep Their Promise

The Carolina RailHawks guaranteed victory on Friday night at SAS Soccer Park as they hosted the California Victory in the battle of the expansion teams at SAS Soccer Park in Cary. The RailHawks kept their promise and earned the three coveted points in a hotly contested battle. Carolina newcomer Joel Bailey scored his first goal and Connally Edozien sealed the deal as the Carolina RailHawks defeated the Victory 2-0.
Next the RailHawks will continue their quest for the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup on Tuesday August 7th as they host the Richmond Kickers at SAS Soccer Park in Cary at 7:30 PM. Should they advance to the semi-finals, the RailHawks will face the winner of the match between the New England Revolution and the Harrisburg City Islanders with a chance to play against another MLS side.
