
RailHawks fall to Miami FC 2-0

Miami, FL - The Carolina RailHawks lost the second game of their four game road trip as they fell to Miami FC 2-0 at Tropical Park Stadium on Saturday night. Alex Alfonso tallied the first goal in the 1st minute of play and Miami's newest acquisition Leo Inacio Nunes sealed the match in the 34th. The RailHawks started with Richard Perdomo in the midfield for the suspended Ryan Solle and Santiago Fusilier on the right flank for Steven Curfman. Carolina ended the match two men down as David Stokes got ejected on a questionable call in the 60th minute and Phillip Long garnered a red card in the 76th.
The RailHawks continue their road trip in Rochester on Friday, June 20th and Montreal on Sunday June 22nd. All road matches can be viewed live and on demand on the USL's broadband channel www.USLLive.com. The RailHawks will return home for the second round of the US Open Cup on Tuesday, June 24th against the Real Maryland Monarchs of USL-2. The next regular season home game for the Carolina RailHawks will be on Friday, June 27th as the RailHawks host the Portland Timbers at WakeMed Soccer Park at 8:00 PM and the RailHawks Women host the Hampton Roads Piranhas on Saturday June 28th at 7:30 PM.
