RailHawks Defeat Campbell 3-1

North Carolina FC News Release


The Carolina RailHawks beat Campbell University 3-1 on Tuesday night in their second preseason match in preparation of the 2008 USL-1 Season. Forward Joel Bailey scored early in the match with an assist from Jacob Coggins. Campbell University tied the match in the second half when Forward Richard Jata headed a ball in past RailHawks Goalkeeper Kyle Roelke. The Carolina RailHawks continued to search for the back of the net and found it towards the end of the match when both Nathan Zuzga and Jorge Hoyos tallied one goal each in the 90th minute.

Next the RailHawks host the New York Red bulls of Major League Soccer on Friday March 28th at 7:30 PM at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary. Then, on Saturday March 29th the Wake Forest University Demon Deacons will visit Field Two at WakeMed Soccer Park for the fourth match of preseason at 7:00 PM.
