North Carolina FC News Release

Cary, N.C. (Tuesday, August 24, 2010) - The Carolina RailHawks (8-7-7, 31 pts.) continue their two-game road trip in Tampa where they will face the Rowdies (6-8-9, 27 pts.) at Steinbrenner Stadium on Wednesday night. The match is set for 7:30 p.m. and can be seen on www.fctampabay.com.

"This is one of our final road games of the season," said RailHawks coach Martin Rennie. "Aside from a couple of games we've done very well on the road and we look to continue our good away form. We also look forward to returning home for our last few games of the regular season."

FC Tampa Bay sits in last place of the USL Conference just one point out of playoff contention. The team has recently brought in several reinforcements including former RailHawk Jonny Steele and Chivas USA forward Maykel Galindo. They are led by Aaron King who has netted nine goals and one assist so far this season. This will be the second meeting between the two teams with the Rowdies edging the RailHawks 2-1 at WakeMed Soccer Park last May.

The RailHawks will look to bounce back from their 3-2 loss at Austin. Carolina was unable to hold on to the 1-0 advantage, after a Daniel Paladini goal. Forward Allan Russell scored the other goal for Carolina, his first as a RailHawk.

The RailHawks return home this Saturday, August 28 to host the Puerto Rico Islanders at 7 p.m. It is LGFCU Night at WakeMed Soccer Park. For tickets and information please visit the LGFCU Box Office, call 919-859-5425 or visit www.carolinarailhawks.com.
