Montreal Impact News Release
MONTREAL - Midfielder Pierre-Rudolph Mayard has been selected to the USL-2 All-League Second Team, after a five-month loan with the Charleston Battery.
Mayard, 22, helped the Battery win the regular season championship in the USL-2. In 18 games, 16 as a starter, for at total of 1,384 minutes of play, Mayard scored six goals, one in US Open Cup play.
"The experience was good for me because I had the chance to progress by playing a lot of minutes," said Mayard. "I am happy to see my work acknowledged but I still have a lot to do with the Impact. I need to continue working and show that I have my place in the lineup."
Mayard played his first match of the season with the Impact, last Saturday, playing 28 minutes in the 5-0 win in Baltimore.
