RailCats To Open All-You-Can-Eat Diamond Club At 2010 Games

GARY, Ind. - Hungry baseball fans will have a new way to enjoy select Gary SouthShore RailCats games this summer in the brand new U. S. Steel Yard Diamond Club, where a $25 ticket gets fans an all-you-can-eat buffet meal and a seat in the outfield terrace section just beyond the right field fence.
Renovated to include restaurant seating, televisions and window views of the action on the field, the Diamond Club also extends beyond the indoor area to include patio seating with spectacular views of the ballpark. A $25 ticket to the Diamond Club includes an outfield terrace seat and a wristband for access to the all-you-can-eat buffet, which will serve food starting one hour before first pitch and run through the fifth inning.
Fans who have already purchased tickets to RailCats games this summer - including season ticket holders - can also stop by the Diamond Club to enjoy the all-you-can eat buffet by paying $18 to acquire wristband access. Food must be consumed inside the Diamond Club and Outfield Terrace areas, however, before fans return to their purchased seats.
The U. S. Steel Yard Diamond Club will be available only for Friday, Saturday and Sunday games plus Opening Night, Thursday, May 20 at 7 p.m. Three different menus will be served depending on the day, with Mexican fare on Friday nights, an Italian menu planned for Saturdays and All-American Ballpark food Sunday afternoons. The Diamond Club will remain open during the week, serving as a bar and gathering area for fans, with drinks and light food available for purchase on a per-item basis. The Diamond Club is also available for rent as a catered banquet facility when the RailCats are on the road, or during the baseball offseason.
