May 17, 2005 - Northern League (NL)
Gary SouthShore Railcats News Release
Gary, Ind.--The Gary SouthShore RailCats Professional Baseball Club announced a trade today with the Evansville Otters of the Frontier League. The RailCats sent outfielder Terrence McClain to Evansville in exchange for catcher Jud Kindle.
Kindle gives the RailCats some protection at the catcher position as the club's projected starter, Jose Yepez, recovers from a back strain.
Kindle, a product of Southwest Missouri State University, played briefly for new RailCats manager Greg Tagert with Springfield-Ozark in the Frontier League last season.
The RailCats are expected to announce their 2005 Opening Day roster later this evening or tomorrow morning.
