
RailCats Baseball Camp Back for Fifth Year

Gary, Ind.-The Gary SouthShore RailCats Professional Baseball Club will present the Fifth Annual RailCats Kids' Baseball Camp on July 27-29 at U. S. Steel Yard. Kids ages eight to 16 can participate and will receive three fun-filled days of baseball instruction from RailCats Manager Greg Tagert and select RailCat players and coaches.
Over 300 kids have participated in the camp since the start of the camp in 2003. This year, the Baseball Camp will take place on July 27th and 28th from 9:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. and July 29th from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Steel Yard. Kids will be divided into age groups and skill levels. Instructors will stress the importance of the fundamentals of baseball and focus on hitting, pitching, catching, and fielding.
The registration fee is $90 per child, which includes an official RailCats Camp T-shirt, lunch served each day, and two tickets to see their own instructors play the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks each night of the camp. Registration forms can be picked up at the U. S. Steel Yard and are now being accepted from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Camp reservations are limited so sign up early.
