RailCats Activate McGee to Start Tonight

WINNIPEG, MB, CA, July 16, 2015 -The Gary South Shore RailCats continue to stay busy in Canada making a roster move for tonight's game in Winnipeg. The RailCats have activated RHP Travis McGee from the Inactive List and placed RHP Kevin Osaki on the Disabled List.

Travis McGee, returns to the roster after being placed on the Inactive List on June 28th retroactive to June 8th. McGee, was originally placed on Disabled List on June 10th, while Gary was on their nine game road swing east to the CAN-AM League. The right hander has made four starts for the RailCats this season posting a 4.50 ERA in 22.0 IP.

A native of Brea, California, McGee pitched at Chapman University and spent four games with the RailCats last season and was with Windy City for three in the Frontier League. Both Osaki and McGee pitched at Chapman University in an ironic twist.

The RailCats, continue their eight game road trip with the second of four games against the Winnipeg Goldeyes at Shaw Park in Downtown Winnipeg Thursday night. The first pitch is scheduled for 7:905pm with the game carried in Northwest Indiana on 95.9 WEFM and worldwide online at RailCatsbaseball.com.
