Prince Albert Raiders News Release

Prince Albert, SK - The Prince Albert Raiders have traded the rights to overage forward Reid Gardiner to the Kelowna Rockets in exchange for a fifth-round pick in the 2017 WHL Bantam Draft, a conditional first-round pick in 2017 or 2018 and a conditional fifth-round pick in 2019.

Gardiner, a Humboldt product, did not suit up with the Raiders this season. He earned a tryout and eventually signed a contract with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins of the American League. In 23 games in the AHL, Gardiner has three goals and three assists.
