Raider Day Set to Kick off 2011-12 Season

Prince Albert SK- The Prince Albert Raiders will be hosting their 3rd Annual Raider Day at the Art Hauser Centre on Thursday August 25th to kick off the 2011-12 Western Hockey League season.
Raider Day will be held from 9:30 AM- 6:00 PM on the 25th and it will give Raider season ticket holders an opportunity to pick up their ticket booklet for the 2011-12 season or renew their seat if they have not already done so. A $2 hamburger and pop lunch will be served from 11:30 AM-1:30 PM courtesy Prince Albert Co-op and there will be Raider merchandise specials available throughout the day. Riley the Raider and Raider players, including NHL Draft picks Mark McNeill and Harrison Ruopp, will be on hand over the course of Raider Day and will be available for pictures and autographs.
Every available seat in the Art Hauser Centre will also be visibly marked so those who do not yet have season tickets can see what seats are available to purchase. Fans can take the specific seat marker to the Raider box office and guarantee their seat of choice for the entire 2011-12 season.
"Last season Raider Day was a huge success," said Raiders Business Manager and Director of Marketing Bruce Vance. "With the players back in the city and Training Camp starting, it's an exciting way for fans to celebrate the start of the 2011-12 season. Marking the seats was something we started last year and it worked out really well. It gives fans the ability to actually see and sit in all available seats to make their purchasing decision easier."
