Rocky Mountain Rage News Release

Broomfield, Colo. - In a marquee Central Hockey League match-up, the Northwest Division-leading Rocky Mountain Rage will host the Southeast Division-leading Laredo Bucks on Friday at Broomfield Event Center. The Rage will then conclude a four-game home stand on Saturday when they honor the nation's armed services by wearing military-themed jerseys against the Wichita Thunder. Both games begin at 7:05 p.m.

Rocky Mountain owns the league's third-best winning percentage with a record of 7-1-1 and will try to keep its unbeaten 5-0-1 record at the BEC intact against the 11-1-0 Bucks. Laredo won its first 10 games this year to tie the all-time CHL record for most consecutive wins to begin a season before dropping its lone decision last Saturday to the Youngstown SteelHounds.

The Bucks have represented the Southern Conference in each of the last four President's Cup Finals, winning championships in 2003-04 and 2005-06. Current Rage captain Brent Cullaton wore the "C" for Laredo during both of its title runs and will be facing his former club for the first time on Friday.

The first 2,500 fans at Friday's showdown will receive a free Rage Jersey Backpack courtesy of the Boulder Broker Inn.

Saturday's game against the Thunder will honor the military, both past and present, and fans presenting a military ID will receive a $3 ticket discount. In addition to wearing military-themed jerseys, the Rage will take the ice skating through a fan tunnel comprised of current military personnel representing all the different branches. A yellow ribbon will be painted on the ice both to recognize the military's sacrifice and express wishes of a safe return for troops currently on active duty around the world.

Following the game, the military jerseys will be auctioned off in the BEC Club Restaurant to benefit the Broomfield Event Center Foundation.

Tickets for both games on Friday and Saturday range in price from $18-$43 per seat (parking included). Fans can purchase tickets through Ticketmaster by logging-on to www.Ticketmaster.com, calling (303) 830-TIXS, or visiting any Ticketmaster retail outlet.

Rage season tickets, mini-packs, and group plans are still available for the 2007-08 season by calling 303-439-RAGE. For more information, visit www.rockymountainrage.com.
