Wisconsin Rapids, Wis. - The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters took care of business on Tuesday night in Fond du Lac, 13-4. The Rafters doubled six times and did not trail, earning their tenth win of 2020.

The Rafters started strong in the first. With Ryan Walstad on second base, Andy Garriola singled to center, driving in his eleventh run of the season. With the score 1-1 after the first, the Rafters took control. Kyle Teel doubled, and after a Fond du Lac error, Austin Kryszczuk doubled to left to score Teel and Jacob Hinderleider. Parker Nolan doubled to left just two batters later, scoring Kryszczuk to make it 4-1.

In the sixth, the Rafters kept on increasing their lead with two more runs with the help of the Dock Spiders defense. Dock Spiders first baseman Tim Elko threw a ball away to score Austin Kryszczuk on a groundout, then Andy Garriola singled in Richie Schiekofer for two more runs and a 7-1 lead. The Dock Spiders made four errors; a season high.

The Dock Spiders would load the bases in the seventh and eighth innings, scoring three runs, but the Rafter responded with six runs across the eighth and ninth, drawing six walks off of Dock Spiders reliever Andrew Jack.
