Reading, PA - Monday's 7:05 PM Reading Phillies game vs. the New Britain Rock Cats has been postponed due to rain.

The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Saturday, August 19 with two seven inning games. Game one will be at 6:05 PM.

Monday's appearance by the Phillie Phanatic has been re-scheduled for this Friday, June 30 when the R-Phils take on the Erie SeaWolves at 7:05 PM. The Phanatic's appearance is courtesy of Berks-Schuylkill Oil Heat Association.

All Berks-Schuylkill Oil Heat Association tickets will be honored on their rain date which is June 30.

Fans holding other R-Phils tickets dated June 26, 2006 may exchange them for any remaining game this season, based on availability. Exchanges may be made at the stadium or by mail (ticket office: 610-375-8469).

This is the first time in 119 gate openings that Reading has had a rain out. The last time the R-Phils completely lost a day of baseball to the weather was July 23, 2004.
