R-Phils promote Ashley Forlini, restructure staff

FirstEnergy Stadium - Ashley Forlini has been promoted by the Reading Phillies to Director of Group Sales and Game Presentation. Other changes include the addition of Josh Holly to the staff and new titles for several other front office members.

In addition to directing the group sales operation, Forlini, 26, handles the interviewing, hiring and scheduling of game staff and interns, plans and implements the R-Phils intricate between-inning game script, assists in the design of printed marketing materials, coordinates the Learning With Baseball in-school program, coordinates the Outstanding Student Program, coordinates the R-Phils Kids Club and handles numerous corporate advertising accounts.

Forlini started with the Reading Phillies in 1994 on a game staff basis as a Reading Phillies Diamond Girl.

She is a 2000 graduate of the University of Delaware and holds a bachelors degree in Physical Education Studies (emphasis on fitness management) and a minor in Applied Nutrition. A Berks County native, Forlini is a 1996 graduate of Exeter High School and resides in West Reading.

Josh Holly returns to the R-Phils staff after a 1-year hiatus as the Special Events Coordinator. He previously worked with the club as an intern in 2003. Upon the completion of his internship he was hired by Body Zone Sports and Fitness Complex as the Assistant Director of Indoor Sports.

Holly graduated from Kutztown University with a bachelors degree in Business Management in 2003. A native of Scranton, PA, he graduated from Lakeland High School in 1998. He resides in Shillington.

Also receiving new titles are: Joe Bialek, Director of Sales; Mike Becker Director of Ticket Operations; Matt Jackson, Corporate Sales/Graphic Artist/Game Entertainment; Christie Chrisanthon, Groups Sales Manager/Picnic & Pool Buffets; Ryan Bardi, Group Sales Manager/Deck Buffets; Mike Robinson, Group Sales manager/Customer Service; Ben Rupp, Ticket Assistant/Fundraising/Birthdays.
