R.A. Jeffrey's Band Series at Fleming Stadium

Wilson, NC - The Wilson Tobs are proud to announce a new promotion this season out at Fleming Stadium. In partnership with R.A. Jeffrey's the Wilson Tobs will be have bands perform four designated nights during the upcoming season to provide fans with a unique experience.

The four nights in which R.A. Jeffrey's will be sponsoring bands are: Opening Night (Sunday, May 29th), Throwback Thirsty Thursday (Thursday, June 23rd), Salute the Troops Night (Friday, July 15th), and Throwback Thirsty Thursday (Thursday, July 28th). The bands headlining the 1st ever RA Jeffrey's Concert Series will be:

Men with Faces (Sunday, May 29 th) 4:45 pm-5:55 pm

The Brooke McBride Band (Thursday, June 23rd) 5:45pm- 6:55 pm

Justin West Band (Friday, July 15th) 5:45 pm- 6:55 pm

The Will McBride Group (Thursday, July 28th) 5:45 pm-6:55 pm

Men with Faces (MWF) is a band born from Southern Worship team musicians in Eastern Carolina. The product of Eric Schreffler's vision, Men with Faces has become a force in the Carolinas. With a new Original CD called "Goldsboro", Eric writes about his life from the city streets of Canton, Ohio to the Countryside of Goldsboro, NC. Eric Schreffler is the lead singer and guitar player in the band. The sound is familiar but different and include covers, or often musical "takes", of popular old time hits. "Rocketman was a good example of the songs we try to play", says Eric. "It was so good, we put it on the album, a peppy version of the classic." Previous performances for MWF include the 2013-2016 Ham and Yam Festival (Smithfield, NC), the Big Easy restaurant in downtown in Raleigh, 2016 Pickle Festival, many other venues that are too long to list, but most recently Men with Faces headlined the 2016 Rock 'n' Roll 5k in Raleigh (April 9th) and Marathon the following day. Lead singer Eric Schreffler had this to say about performing at Fleming Stadium for the Tobs, "As a huge Cleveland Indians fan, playing at a ballpark represents home. Being invited locally to play Opening Day with the Tobs is just a great honor and were are so excited to share in the start of what we think will be a great year,"

Brooke McBride prides herself in being "No Fluff," "No Filler" just real, raw, country music. Brooke is a 2013 Carolina Music award nominee for Best Female Country Artist, has been a featured extra on the hit ABC Television series "Nashville," and was part of a CMA Promo Commercial Featuring Brad Paisley for the 2013 CMA Awards in Nashville. Brooke released her debut EP "Songs About Carolina" upon graduating from Belmont University in 2014. Brooke and her band currently live in Nashville, TN and are working on her next project to be released in mid-2016. The band's usual set includes both originals and covers with covers ranging all the way from Johnny Cash to Cee Lo Green. No matter what kind of music you generally migrate towards, Brooke's raw, southern/smoky voice and storytelling ability are sure to keep you entertained all night long. When asked about the upcoming performance at Historic Fleming Stadium, Brooke had this to say, "I'm really looking forward to coming and performing for the Wilson Tobs. I grew up going to minor league baseball games in my hometown and played travel softball from the time I was 8 years old until I was a senior in high school, so sports (especially baseball and softball) have always had a special place in my heart. While I have known that music was my true passion for a while now, I'm excited to be able to perform for the Wilson Tobs combining the two main things that shaped my childhood...sports and music."

The Justin West Band is a high energy, five-piece band, grabbing the attention of their audience throughout the southeast. Justin West is an energetic young artist backed by four seasoned musicians on guitars, bass, drums and keyboards. JWB plays current country songs with a few classic country standards, and even a few classic country rock songs by request. Justin West is a country music singer/songwriter from Coats, NC, with an amazing high energy, five-piece band, grabbing the attention of their audience throughout the southeast along side of him. From North Carolina to Georgia, Justin and the band have been rolling through the southeast bringing driving country music at its best. Playing clubs and festivals such as Carolina Nightlife in Darlington South Carolina and Busco Beach in Goldsboro North Carolina, Justin and the guys know how to put on one heck of a show!

The Will McBride Group is a jazz-influenced rock/pop band from Raleigh, NC. This guitar/bass/drum trio has, for the past 12 years, performed all over the North Carolina/South Carolina region, including opening shows for music legends, including ZZ Top, Styx, Eddie Money, Leon Russell, Aaron Neville.
